This compilation of digitally never officially released stuff by THE LUST is a dedication to our previous conceptual studio album "Black Dahlia Poem". It was really a big jorney and achivement for us at that point. Of course we weren't able to put all recorded material to one CD. The world needs another version with bonus-CD? Who knows!
Only several of this tracks were released later on CD - on both editions of "Black Dahlia Poem". The rest of tracks on this compilation stayed unreleased so far. Now it's time to let them see the dark...

"Eight of Swords" is one of the most beautiful gothic metal albums this year. It features very catchy songs, a pleasant female voice and spreads enough heaviness not to be regarded as pop music. Basically, I can recommend all tracks to check the album out as there is not one filler track to find. Maybe "Eight of Swords" is not original, maybe it is not an album for the ages, but definitely for this year's autumn and winter season!
