"Ethereal Euphonies" is a collection of songs by THE LUST, taken from different albums, started with debut album "Tangled", and played by pianist and member of THE LUST Lorelei Ether.

"The whole album was inspired by the songs written by Yan Dissector. Once the biggest fan, now the pianist in The Lust I still find this music majestic. I write piano covers to expose my love for the melodics and atmosphere, flowing through the body of a heavy sound composition. I believe that even a person being too far from metal music will love the tunes performed by my fingers" (Lorelei Ether)

I have not heard such kind of dark metal for ages! In the late 90s this style was quite popular with bands like Darkseed, Sundown, Aion, Diabolique, Beseech or Paradise Lost in their soft phase. Sure, on one side "The Everlasting" sounds old-fashioned, but on the other the songs are a welcome variation in my current playlist. And old-fashioned or not, songs like "Waiting for the Sign" or "Bred to be broken" are simply catchy, cool and they rock! H.L.
